-If you arrived at your final destination more than 3hours later than expected, you are entitled to compensation and your expenses paid for (hotel, food, transport and 2 telephone calls).

How long does your EasyJet delay have to be before you can claim compensation?
In order for you to be eligible for an EasyJet delayed flight claim, there are certain criteria that you have to meet, as per the EU and UK regulations that protect peoples flight rights.
These conditions are as follows:
•Your flight must have landed or departed from the EU or the UK.
•Your flight must have arrived at your destination more than 3 hours later than the expected time.
Remember: You are not entitled to compensation if your flight was delayed, due to sever weather conditions, a security threat or third-party strikes.
In the event that you have experienced a cancellation, check the below criteria for claiming EasyJet compensation, as it will determine if you are eligible to make a claim:
•You were informed of your flight cancellation 14 days prior to your departure.
•Your flight was not cancelled by concerning weather conditions or a possible security threat.
If your EasyJet fight was delayed or cancelled, you are entitled to the below amounts, provided that you meet the criteria for making a claim:
• €250/ £220 for flights with a distance of 1500km or less;
• €400/ £350 for flights with a distance of more than 1500km;
• €600/ £520 for flights over 3500km or more.
As per the EasyJet compensation policy, In the case that you were put on an alternative flight to your final destination, your EasyJet cancellation compensation will be reduced by 50%.
This only applies if your re-routing on the alternative flight to your destination was scheduled to arrive:
• 2 hours or less after the original arrival time (for flights with a distance of 1500km or less).
• 3 hours or less after the original arrival time (for flights with a distance 1500km-3500km).
• 4 hours or less after the original arrival time (for flights of 3500km or more).
